The Project
My client wanted me to design a portfolio website for his photography business. The client was not tech-savvy and needed an easy-to-use, simple website for his business that highlighted his skills
Preliminary Design
After discussing the goals and technological limitations with my client, I recommended the WiX builder for my client as uploading new photos in the future would be easiest for him using this platform.
To design the website, I reviewed other photography portfolios and found that a clean, simple background was best as it ensures the user focuses on the photography itself. For this purpose I decided to exclude any use of animation on the website as well.
Instructional Video
As my client had limited experience in using the web, I created a video for him which demonstrates how to upload photos onto his website in the future should he wish to update his portfolio.
